What to expect
- Consult — Samah confirms area size and whether Pixel or IPL/RF fits your goal better.
- Numb & treat — numbing cream, then 20–40 minutes of laser passes.
- Heal — sunburn-like redness and light peeling for 3–7 days.
- Repeat — most clients do 3 sessions, several weeks apart.
Plan a week of low-key skin. Strict SPF after. Not suitable on tanned skin, during pregnancy, or with active infection.

Who does your treatment
Samah Haroof, Master Injector, leads S Glowic and does your consultation personally — she'll tell you whether Pixel is right for you, or if something else would serve you better. Treatments are performed by Samah or by Raand, our esthetician, in Suite 224, under the protocols of our medical director, Dr. Mohammed Al Haider.

How does Pixel compare to other fractional lasers?
Pixel is an ablative Er:YAG fractional laser — in the same family as the deeper resurfacing lasers, with shorter downtime than full CO2 resurfacing.
How much downtime?
Three to seven days of redness and light peeling. Most clients treat on a Friday.
Is one session enough?
One session gives a visible refresh. Scars and deeper texture usually need three.
Can I combine it with other treatments?
Yes — many clients alternate Pixel with IPL for tone, or add RF microneedling for tightening. Samah plans the sequence.
Is it safe for my skin tone?
Pixel is suitable for lighter to medium skin tones; for deeper tones Samah will usually recommend RF microneedling instead.
