What is Profhilo Structura?
Each treatment is a 2 mL syringe of pure hyaluronic acid — 45 mg of high-molecular-weight and 45 mg of low-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid, bound together as stable “hybrid complexes” by IBSA's patented NAHYCO™ technology. Samah places it in the superficial fat layer at the side of the face, usually through a single small entry point on each side with a fine cannula.
Instead of mechanically filling a hollow, Structura is designed to support the fat tissue that gives the mid- and lower face its shape — often called bio-remodelling. Changes are gradual and soft, which is why clients who don't want a “done” look choose it.

What to expect
- Complimentary consultation. Samah looks at your face at rest and in motion, explains whether Structura, Profhilo, a filler or a combination fits your goals, and confirms the plan and price.
- Treatment. About 20 to 30 minutes. Numbing at the entry point, then a fine cannula — most clients describe pressure, not pain.
- Afterwards. Mild swelling, tenderness or a small bruise for a few days is possible. You'll leave with written aftercare.
- Second session. About four weeks later, to complete the standard two-session protocol.
- Results. Build gradually over the following weeks as the tissue responds. Samah will advise if and when a maintenance session makes sense for you.

How many Profhilo Structura sessions will I need?
The standard protocol is two sessions, about four weeks apart. Samah will tell you at your consultation whether that suits your goals and when a maintenance session might make sense.
What is the difference between Profhilo and Profhilo Structura?
Both are made by IBSA from the same pure hyaluronic acid technology. Original Profhilo is placed in the skin to hydrate it and improve texture and firmness. Profhilo Structura is placed deeper, in the fat layer of the mid- and lower face, to support lost volume and contour. They treat different layers and can be combined.
Is Profhilo Structura a filler?
No. It contains no cross-linking agents and is not designed to sculpt or add instant volume the way a filler does. It works with the facial fat tissue for a gradual, natural-looking change. If a filler would serve you better, Samah will tell you.
Does it hurt, and is there downtime?
Most clients describe pressure rather than pain. Numbing is used at the entry point and a fine cannula keeps the number of needle entries to a minimum. Mild swelling, tenderness or a small bruise for a few days is possible; most people return to normal plans the same day.
Who should not have Profhilo Structura?
It is not offered during pregnancy or breastfeeding, over an active skin infection in the area, or to anyone with an allergy to hyaluronic acid. Samah reviews your health history at the consultation.
