Plan about 90 minutes per visit including numbing. Avoid sun and retinoids for a week before. Not suitable during pregnancy or with an active skin infection.

Who does your treatment
Samah Haroof, Master Injector, leads S Glowic and does your consultation personally — she'll tell you whether RF microneedling is right for you, or if something else would serve you better. Treatments are performed by Samah or by Raand, our esthetician, in Suite 224, under the protocols of our medical director, Dr. Mohammed Al Haider.
Questions people ask
How is this different from regular microneedling?
Regular microneedling stimulates collagen at the surface. RF adds controlled heat in the deeper layer, which tightens as well as smooths. It's the closer comparison to well-known RF devices you may have seen online.
Does it hurt?
With numbing cream most clients rate it 3–4 out of 10 — warmth and pressure more than pain.
How many sessions do I need?
Three is the standard series. Samah will tell you honestly if one is enough for a light refresh or if you'd be better served by something else.
When will I see results?
Some tightening in 2–3 weeks; the real change shows at 3 months as collagen matures, and continues to 6 months.
Is it safe for darker skin?
Yes — RF microneedling is one of the safest resurfacing options for deeper skin tones because the energy bypasses the surface pigment.
