Hyaluronidase, an enzyme, not a filler
Hyaluronidase is an enzyme that breaks down hyaluronic acid — the base ingredient in fillers like Juvederm, Restylane and Revanesse. Injected directly into the treated area, it dissolves the filler so your body can reabsorb it naturally.
It only works on hyaluronic acid fillers. Radiesse, Sculptra and semi-permanent or permanent fillers such as Bellafill are not hyaluronic acid based and cannot be dissolved this way. We confirm what you were treated with, and if it isn’t an HA filler, we will tell you plainly rather than perform a treatment that won’t work.
For clients with a history of allergies, we can place a small test dose first and wait before treating the full area.

Most single-area corrections use one to two vials; larger or long-standing volume can need more. We tell you an honest estimate at your consultation before we start.

Fast to start, a little patience to finish
The injections themselves take only a few minutes. Some swelling and tenderness in the treated area is normal for a day or two.
Hyaluronidase starts working within hours, and most clients see a visible change within 24–48 hours. Dense or older filler can take up to a week to fully clear, and occasionally a second session is needed.
If you plan to have new filler placed afterward, we usually wait about two weeks to let the treated area settle first.
Afterwards: avoid strenuous exercise and alcohol for 24 hours, and expect any bruising to resolve within a few days.

Does dissolving filler hurt?
Most clients describe it as similar to getting the filler placed — a brief pinch per injection. Numbing is available.
Will it dissolve all my filler, or just some?
You can request a full or partial dissolve. Tell us your goal — a complete reset or just softening one spot — and we treat accordingly.
Can Radiesse or Sculptra be dissolved?
No. Hyaluronidase only breaks down hyaluronic acid fillers. Radiesse and Sculptra are not HA-based and are not reversible.
How soon can I get new filler after dissolving?
Typically about two weeks, once any swelling has resolved.
