Radiesse in Plano, TX

Most fillers add volume and then, over time, leave. Radiesse does something different. It lifts immediately — and the calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres it is made of prompt your own skin to build collagen around them. The filler breaks down. The collagen it started stays.

Placed by Samah Haroof, a certified Master Injector. Serving Plano, Frisco, McKinney and North Dallas.

Samah’s Signature

Why clients specifically ask for Samah’s Radiesse

Radiesse doesn’t forgive a heavy hand. It isn’t reversible, so the entire result rides on where the needle goes — which is why Samah treats it as a structural decision, not a cosmetic one. She maps the jawline before she ever draws up a syringe: where the bone should read through the skin, where the shadow under the jaw is doing the aging for you, and how little product it actually takes to fix that.

The result she has become known for in Plano isn’t “filled.” It’s sharpened — a jawline that looks like it was always there, just finally visible. Most clients are surprised how few syringes it takes once someone is being precise instead of generous.

If you’ve had Radiesse elsewhere and it came out heavy, or you’re nervous about a treatment you can’t undo, that’s exactly the conversation to have with Samah directly — before you book, not after.

What it is used for

Structure, not just volume

FDA-approved use

Jawline contour

Radiesse (+) is FDA-approved for moderate to severe loss of jawline contour — the first and only injectable approved for that specific indication. If the line between jaw and neck has softened, this is the treatment designed for it.

FDA-approved use

Hands

Restoring volume to the back of the hands. One of the few treatments that addresses a part of the body most people forget entirely.

FDA-approved use

Décolletage

Radiesse received FDA approval for wrinkles in the décolleté area in 2026.

FDA-approved use

Nasolabial folds

The folds that run from nose to mouth, plus chin projection and pre-jowl hollows as part of lower-face definition.

Off-label

Hyperdilute, for skin quality

Radiesse thinned with saline and spread across a broader area to stimulate collagen in the neck, décolleté or upper arms rather than to add volume. Performed at our clinical discretion.

We label these plainly because most clinics do not. An FDA-approved indication and a widely-practised off-label technique are both legitimate — they are just not the same thing, and you deserve to know which you are being offered.

How it compares

Radiesse, hyaluronic acid, or Sculptra?

They are not competitors. They are different tools, and choosing between them is most of what a consultation is for.

Hyaluronic acid filler

Juvederm, Revanesse. Soft, adjustable, and reversible with hyaluronidase. Right for lips and for delicate work where you want the option to undo it.

Radiesse

Firmer, with more lift per syringe. Not reversible — which is exactly why it belongs with an injector who places it conservatively. In exchange: structure a soft filler cannot give, plus collagen stimulation it does not do at all.

Sculptra

The other biostimulator we use. Slower and more gradual, better for overall facial volume across a series of sessions. Radiesse lifts today and builds collagen after. Sculptra builds only, over months.

What Radiesse costs

Radiesse$850 per syringe

Jawline contouring commonly uses more than one syringe. We tell you what we think you need at consultation and why — and if one syringe is the right answer, we will say so.

Consultations are free. CareCredit financing is available for treatment plans.

What to expect

Lift today, collagen over the next three months

  1. The appointment

About thirty minutes. Radiesse is supplied with lidocaine and most clients find it comfortable.

  2. Straight away

You see the lift immediately — that is the filler doing its part. Expect some swelling and the possibility of bruising for a few days.

  3. Two to three months

The collagen result builds quietly underneath. This is when clients tell us the jawline “settled.”

  4. A year or more

How long results generally last — and often longer at the jawline than in more mobile areas.

Afterwards: no strenuous exercise, heat or alcohol for 24 hours, and avoid pressure on the treated area.

Who it suits

Definition rather than plumpness

Radiesse suits you if you want definition rather than volume — a jawline that has blurred, a lower face that has lost its edge, hands that look older than the rest of you. If what you want is softness or lip volume, we will point you to a hyaluronic acid filler instead. If what you want is gradual overall restoration, we will talk about Sculptra.

Radiesse is not our choice for lips, and not our first choice for very thin or delicate skin. It is not used during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or with a known sensitivity to any of its components. If you have had permanent filler previously, tell us — it changes the plan.

Not sure whether you need Radiesse or Botox? They solve different problems, and the consultation is free.

Questions we get

Radiesse FAQs

Is Radiesse a filler or a collagen stimulator?

Both, and that is the point. It fills immediately and stimulates your own collagen production as it breaks down.

How long does Radiesse last?

Generally a year or more. The collagen it stimulates is not on the same clock as the product itself, which is why results often outlast the filler.

Is Radiesse reversible?

No. Unlike hyaluronic acid fillers it cannot be dissolved. That is why placement matters, and why we treat conservatively.

Can Radiesse be used for the jawline?

Yes. Radiesse (+) is FDA-approved specifically for moderate to severe loss of jawline contour.

What is hyperdilute Radiesse?

Radiesse thinned with saline and spread over a wider area to build collagen and improve skin quality rather than add volume — commonly on the neck, décolleté and upper arms. This is an off-label use.

How much does Radiesse cost in Plano?

$850 per syringe at S Glowic MedSpa. Jawline work commonly uses more than one.

Does it hurt?

Radiesse comes with lidocaine mixed in, so most clients find it comfortable. Some pressure during placement is normal.
